Tim Pearce, Managing Director
Tim has worked in the petroleum service sector for more than 30 years. Tim graduated from Liverpool University and subsequently gained his PhD from Kingston University. Tim’s doctoral research was a seminal work in the application of chemostratigraphy in the oil industry. Tim continues to publish his on-going research and present papers at scientific conference in chemostratigraphic and provenance techniques and he is involved in global multi-client reports and regional studies from MENA, Europe and Canada. Tim is responsible for corporate strategy and global business development
Vicki Ridge, Finance Director
On graduating from Wolverhampton University with a Maths degree Vicki spent 7 years working for an Accountancy Practice where she gained her ACCA Accountancy qualification. Following this a further 7 years was spent as Finance Manager for a large multinational electrical manufacturing company before moving to the Financial Services sector in 2010. Vicki joined Hafren as Head of Finance in 2013, becoming Finance Director in 2016.
Paul Carey, Marketing & Sales Director
Paul graduated from Queens University Belfast in 1994 with a PhD in Geology and has worked in the energy sector for more than 30 years, specialising in reservoir geology, bitumens and fluid inclusion microthermometry. Paul has held positions in both academia and industry throughout his career, as Technical Team Leader with Badley Ashton, Head of Multiclient with Fugro Data Solutions Ltd, Chair of Petroleum Geology at the University of the Western Cape and Sales and Marketing director at Getech Group before joining the Hafren group.
Eddie Merrick, Director
Eddie has over 20 years experience with Chemostrat in a variety of senior management roles and is presently focused on commercialisation in MENA and SE Asia. Eddie also supports and oversees our wide variety of R&D initiatives.
Kirsten Bevan, International Operations Manager
Kirsten oversees the day to day staffing, lab processes and operational management of all our international projects across the globe.
David Riley, Stratigraphy Manager
David leads the stratigraphy team with over 10 years of Chemostratigraphy experience and completed numerous studies in the North Sea, GOM, Alaska, Africa, Australia and SE Asia.
The Americas
Wayne Harrison, Director-General Manager Chemostrat Inc
Wayne, based in our Houston office, is currently General Manager for Chemostrat Inc. Wayne has over 40 years of successful performance in multi-faceted sales and operations roles, both domestic and international.
Gemma Hildred
Gemma, is responsible for overseeing all Canadian / Colombian projects as well as International work operated out of Houston. She graduated from the University of Birmingham with an MSci Honours degree in Geology in 2006 and has 18 years’ experience with Chemostrat. Over the past decade Gemma has developed the company’s services in many of the stratigraphic intervals of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, including the low accommodation fluvial sequences of Western Canada and the resources plays of the Duvernay, Montney and Horn River formations. She has also worked extensively in Colombia and on the Miocene GOM plays. Gemma continues to publish research on the applications of geochemical data to geosciences and the oil industry and regularly presents papers at local and international conferences.
