SMARTCymru programme

Chemostrat has benefited from financial support from the Welsh Government’s SMARTCymru programme, which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

The project aims to develop a new organic filter system to remediate metal pollution (particularly Lead, Zinc and Cadmium) from Wales’ historic metal mine sites. The first field trial is underway with the study aiming to be complete in the Autumn of 2021.
