Chemostratigraphy Services
At Chemostrat we combine geochemical datasets with more traditional stratigraphic and sedimentological data to provide an integrated stratigraphic model. Our chemostratigraphy service includes:
High resolution reservoir to regional correlation.- Facies recognition and lithotyping
- Mineralogy / diagenesis interpretation.
- Provenance and mineral modeling with key stratal surface recognition.
- Reservoir quality modelling.
- Reservoir / seal mapping.
- Formation water chemistry.
We routinely apply our geochemical data from core studies to understand the chemistry of uncored sections from ditch cuttings. In particular we can offer:
- Lithotyping , especially useful in turbine drilled cuttings where lithological characterisation can be problematic.
- Porosity and permeability prediction through the uncored interval.
We are also happy to provide multidisciplinary solutions through the integration of our chemostratigraphy data with more conventional analytical methods.
